We are called to imitate Jesus Christ.\u00a0 He loved and honored his mother in accordance with the 5th commandment “Honor your Father and Mother”.\u00a0 Jesus would have obeyed this commandment.\u00a0 \u00a0We are just honoring and loving Blessed Mother Mary just as Jesus did.\u00a0 Blessed Mother Mary is Jesus’s mama and he can not refuse her out of His love for her.\u00a0 Jesus Christ is God and He created Blessed Mary and chose Blessed Mary for His Mother.<\/p>\n
John 19:26-27<\/p>\n
When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.<\/p>\n
Jesus was the Son of God!!\u00a0 He said 7 profound statements from the cross.\u00a0 It was very difficult to speak.\u00a0 Did Jesus forget about his Mother??\u00a0 No, he knew he was going to be crucified long ago.\u00a0 He was giving the good disciple to Blessed Mother Mary and the good disciple to Blessed Mother Mary as family.\u00a0 We are the good disciples if we take Blessed Mother Mary into our home.<\/p>\n
John 2:1-11<\/p>\n
On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.\u00a0 Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.\u00a0 When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, \u201cThey have no wine.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0[And] Jesus said to her, \u201cWoman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.\u201d\u00a0 His mother said to the servers, \u201cDo whatever he tells you.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons.\u00a0 Jesus told them, \u201cFill the jars with water.\u201d So they filled them to the brim.\u00a0 Then he told them, \u201cDraw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.\u201d So they took it.\u00a0 And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom and said to him, \u201cEveryone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.\u201d\u00a0 Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.<\/p>\n
Jesus said to Blessed Mother Mary “My hour has not yet come”.\u00a0 In interceding for the wedding party Blessed Mother Mary said to Jesus Your hour has come.\u00a0 Do whatever He tells you.\u00a0 In a way Blessed Mother Mary began Jesus’s ministry.\u00a0 This is a great example of Blessed Mother Mary interceding for humanity.<\/p>\n
